| Other details | I was born and raised in Sunset, Utah. I graduated from Clearfield High School in 1984. I then pursued my education at Weber State University where I received my Associates Degree. I received my Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science Education from Utah State University. I have been teaching at Roy High School for 9 years. The classes I teach include Adult Roles and Financial Literacy, Child Care I and II and the Royal Tots Head Teacher Program. I have actively worked with the Royal Tots Preschool for over 16 years, and I have been lucky enough to have some of my original Royal Tot Preschool children in my high school classroom. I have been an FCCLA Advisor for the past 17 years. I found my passion in helping students to find the leaders within. I served as the Student Government Assistant/Advisor for 8 years. I also had the pleasure as serving as the Utah State FCCLA Advisor for 3 years. I continue to help students reach their leadership potentional while serving as the FCCLA Advisor at Roy High School. I am the mother of three beautiful children. I adore my children, and spend most of my free time with them. As a mother I have learned valuable lessons for the classroom. I try to take these lessons and share them with my students. My wish in life is that my students will succeed in their families and their future.I definitely picked the right profession for me! I love teaching! |
